In the past, I spent a few years volunteering with Ignite Seattle helping to organize their public speaking events. Ignite’s unique spin on public speaking is that participants need to do a 5-minute PowerPoint presentation where the slides switch automatically every 15 seconds.
Throughout my time as a volunteer, I aspired to one day step on stage and do my own Ignite talk. In late 2024, I finally did, speaking in front of a sold out event at Town Hall Seattle.
