Non-profit video scripting

For this project, I coordinated with an external video production company to have a short video created.

The non-profit had a constant problem with people having no idea what they did. Many of the videos they already had were of individual stories. The strategy behind this video was to give an overall view of the non-profit’s mission and programs.

My responsibilities included:

  • Outlining goals and a treatment for the video for the producers to draw upon.
  • Writing the script / voiceover for the video, ensuring it outlined the correct messaging, mission, and vision of the non-profit
  • Scheduling shooting days for the video production crew so they could interview staff and collect B-roll.
  • Reviewing early cuts of the video, giving feedback to the producers on what to improve.
